I create wedding videos that reflect the style and sophistication of today's bride. Many of you want a wedding photographer that has the eye to capture non-staged, very candid natural moments. Your wedding video should be an extension of that look and much more, like a good documentary, it should have a nice flow, telling your story naturally as the wedding day unfolds. The videographer really needs to intuitively understand the special dynamics of not only the couple but their families and close friends and how to frame that into a compelling visual story. I find that adding many computer effects and swelling music, like many Hollywood movies, try's too hard to artificially evoke emotion thus choking all the wonderful energy from the wedding video. Your wedding video should not be the playground for the videographers fantasies of being the next Steven Spielberg. Today's bride is very media savvy, she knows when viewing wedding video samples what works and what doesn't and mostly, it doesn't.
