Flavors and Design

We will design your desserts together. We’ll discuss the particulars of your event – colors, theme, textures - and I will craft something just for you. Pictures, sketches and idea books will be available for your viewing.

You’ll have the opportunity to taste cakes and explore flavor combinations. I often create custom flavors for my clients – this is one of the joys of the process!

My goal is to provide you with desserts tailored to the individual style of your event. After your tasting, I’ll continue to collaborate with you on design details until we’ve created sweet perfection for you and your guests.

Questions

How are your desserts priced?
Pricing starts at $6.00 per serving for wedding cakes, $3.50 for cupcakes, and $1.75-$2.50 for small-bites like tartlets & truffles. I will consult with you about your budget to ensure I create desserts that fit your vision as well as your pocketbook.

How long before my event should I contact you?
Please plan to schedule a consultation at least six months prior to your event. Summer weddings often require 9-12 months advance booking, while other special occasions may require just a few weeks’ notice. Jen’s Desserts is a small artisan studio, and I want to give your event the care and consideration you deserve! If you’re short on time, please contact me – I will happily make exceptions to our regular time requirements if our schedule allows.

Do you deliver wedding cakes?
Delivery and set-up within the Seattle metro area are included in the cost of your cake. Delivery outside the Seattle and Metro Eastside areas - even out-of-state - is possible for an additional fee. Please ask us.
